The Volcano, a cozy, eccentric bar in Rice Village, takes its name from the macabre 1947 novel Under the Volcano by Malcolm Lowry. The menu offers a few sandwiches and bar snacks, as well as a long list of excellent draft beers by the pint and a blackboard wine list with some impressive specials.
